[ Editor’s Note: We smelled a hyped story right away on this alleged ICBM test launch. North Korea had obvious reasons to puff up its deterrent capability, but the US going along with it was just another case of lying to the American people to hype a threat.
So that now makes the story “why was the US doing that?”, and then also why did South Korea spill the beans on the US hype? The real threat here is to North and South Korea. They are the cannon fodder goats, as are the US military there, not mainland USA.
US reasons would be to liquor the public up, where we have more than a few sectors that love conflicts with small countries that are really no threat, or just a minor one, and to keep tensions stirred up that takes focus off other issues which are more important, like the log jam on our domestic politics, where we are funding our government with red ink with not much discussion of the long term consequences of that.
The key issue that South Korean Intel put on the table was the lack of “testing facilities”, which you have to have, in order to see if your hardware works. No one in the “fake news” media was asking this obvious question, nor did they ever ask it during the long term hoax about the Iran nuclear weapons program.
The diversion hustle there was to keep public focus on when Iran would have enough bomb grade material to make “da bomb”, with zero discussion of what their warhead design would be and how were they going to test it. We had the real background on it from our own nuke expert, Clinton Bastin, that the finished reprocessing product was in a “gaseous state”.

Why Do North Koreans Hate Us? One Reason — They Remember the Korean War.
“WHY DO THEY hate us?”
It’s a question that has bewildered Americans again and again in the wake of 9/11, in reference to the Arab and Muslim worlds. These days, however, it’s a question increasingly asked about the reclusive North Koreans.
Let’s be clear: There is no doubt that the citizens of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea both fear and loathe the United States. Paranoia, resentment, and a crude anti-Americanism have been nurtured inside the Hermit Kingdom for decades. Children are taught to hate Americans in school while adults mark a “Struggle Against U.S. Imperialism Month” every year (it’s in June, in case you were wondering).
North Korean officials make wild threats against the United States while the regime, led by the brutal and sadistic Kim Jong-un, pumps out fake news in the form of self-serving propaganda, on an industrial scale. In the DPRK, anti-American hatred is a commodity never in short supply.
“The hate, though,” as longtime North Korea watcher Blaine Harden observed in the Washington Post, “is not all manufactured.” Some of it, he wrote, “is rooted in a fact-based narrative, one that North Korea obsessively remembers and the United States blithely forgets.”
Forgets as in the “forgotten war.” Yes, the Korean War. Remember that? The one wedged between World War II and the Vietnam War? The first “hot” war of the Cold War, which took place between 1950 and 1953, and which has since been conveniently airbrushed from most discussions and debates about the “crazy” and “insane” regime in Pyongyang? Forgotten despite the fact that this particular war isn’t even over — it was halted by an armistice agreement, not a peace treaty — and despite the fact that the conflict saw the United States engage in numerous war crimes, which, perhaps unsurprisingly, continue to shape the way North Koreans view the United States, even if the residents of the United States remain blissfully ignorant of their country’s belligerent past.
For the record, it was the North Koreans, and not the Americans or their South Korean allies, who started the war in June 1950, when they crossed the 38th Parallel and invaded the south. Nevertheless, “What hardly any Americans know or remember,” University of Chicago historian Bruce Cumings writes in his book “The Korean War: A History,” “is that we carpet-bombed the north for three years with next to no concern for civilian casualties.”
How many Americans, for example, are aware of the fact that U.S. planes dropped on the Korean peninsula more bombs — 635,000 tons — and napalm — 32,557 tons — than during the entire Pacific campaign against the Japanese during World War II?
How many Americans know that “over a period of three years or so,” to quote Air Force Gen. Curtis LeMay, head of the Strategic Air Command during the Korean War, “we killed off … 20 percent of the population”?

[Editor’s note: As Trump continues to ratchet up the tensions with North Korea, it is worth reminding ourselves of why the North Koreans are so scared of the US and why they have such a burning hatred for the Americans and their South Korean collaborators. Hundreds of thousands of Koreans were slaughtered by the brutal and cruel Nationalist regime that the US installed in Seoul after the Japanese occupation ended post WW2, millions more were killed, wounded or made homeless in the four years of war from 1950 to 54 that pitted the North against South, backed by the Soviet Union and United Nations respectively. That war has never officially ended, there is no peace treaty, just an uneasy ceasefire standoff.
According to estimates by South Korea’s Truth Commission, up to 100,000 unarmed South Korean civilians became victims of massacres committed during the Korean War (1950-1953) by the South Korean armed forces and police. Most of the estimated 1,222 massacres took place during the first few months of the war.
During the war, more massacres occurred. The US occupation forces had issued stay-put orders to the civilian population of South Korea which sought to flee combat zones, however, as the front approached. Because US generals thought that it was impossible to differentiate between fleeing South Korean civilians and Leftists in civilian clothes infiltrating the territory still held by the American occupation regime, all Koreans became targets. Korean civilians usual wore the customary traditional white clothes of the common people. They were easily spotted by reconnaissance planes. Columns of refugees were strafed by US planes and shot at by the infantry, driving up the number of those massacred. Death had many faces, however, starvation being not the least of the causes that decimated the population of the country to an extent that made Paul Robeson and others speak of genocide.

The Washington Post quickly jumped to the bandwagon saying that “North Korea missile launch marks a direct challenge to Trump administration.”[2] The New York Times: “U.S. Confirms North Korea Fired Intercontinental Ballistic Missile.”[3]
On July 7th, the New York Times also came out with an article entitled: “North Korea’s Missile Test, a 9-Minute Hop, Leaves Analysts Puzzled.”[4] Last year, the New York Timesdeclared: “North Korea’s Successful Missile Test Shows Program’s Progress, Analysts Say.”[5] Virtually every news outlet was trying to freak everyone out.[6] Last month, CNNdeclared: “North Korea launches 4 anti-ship missiles, fourth test in a month.”[7]

Campaigners are furious with a High Court decision in London allowing the UK Government to carry on exporting arms to Saudi Arabia for use against Yemenis.
The Campaign Against Arms Trade (CAAT) brought the legal action against the Secretary of State for International Trade for continuing to grant export licences for arms to Saudi Arabia, arguing that this was against UK policy, which states that the government must refuse such licences if there’s a clear risk that the arms might be used to commit serious violations of International Humanitarian Law.
It is undeniable that Saudi forces have used UK-supplied weaponry to violate International Humanitarian Law in their war on Yemen. According to the United Nations, well over 10,000 people have been killed, the majority by the Saudi-led bombing campaign which has also destroyed vital infrastructure such as schools and hospitals and contributed to the cholera crisis. 3 million Yemenis have been displaced from their homes and 7 million are on the brink of dying from famine. UNICEF reports that a child is dying in Yemen every ten minutes from preventable causes including starvation and malnourishment.
A crippling naval blockade of the country by the US has been key to the cruel onslaught. The European Parliament and numerous humanitarian NGOs have condemned the Saudi air strikes as unlawful. And 18 months ago a UN Panel of Experts accused Saudi forces of “widespread and systematic” targeting of civilians.
Yet the UK has licensed £3.3 billions worth of arms such as aircraft, helicopters, drones, missiles, grenades, bombs and armoured vehicles to the Saudi regime and refused to suspend the supply of weaponry for use in Yemen in the face of the horrors perpetrated. It is claimed that the Government has even ignored warnings by senior civil servants and its own arms control experts, and that some records of expressed concern have gone missing.

Through a very strange set of changing circumstances, Scott Bennett was moved during his six-month imprisonment.
Scott ended up being in the cell next to Brad Birkenfeld, who was one of the chief executives for Swiss bank UBS that laundered money to terrorist groups.
Brad Birkenfeld had been jailed to discredit him so that his testimony would not be accepted in court and implicate his superiors and associates.
Brad Birkenfeld made arrangements to provide Scott with key “smoking gun” documents that illustrated how terror was financed covertly by the USG through this large Swiss bank.
Scott Bennett is a total stand up man who took his oath seriously to defend the USA against all enemies, both foreign and DOMESTIC.
Scott has never given up in his mandated mission to discover and expose the source of terror financing and do everything possible to help stop it.
Upon release, Scott tried to contact every member of Congress. He had provided each with a book he authored entitled, Shell Game, which contained these “smoking gun” documents. The only Member of Congress who got back to Scott was Representative Rand Paul.
Thus, it is rational to conclude that the US Congress has no desire to eliminate terror financing or to actually win their supposed “War on Terror”.
Sadly, it certainly appears like this so-called “War on Terror” is like every other phony USG war (War on Poverty, War on Hunger, War on Crime, etc.). These wars are phony cover stories used to create more of the serious problems they were supposedly designed to eliminate.
This is designed to increase funding for the USG, the US Military, Intel and LE like any previous real war effort. As remarkably well-documented in the Michael Rivero movie, “All wars are Bankers’ Wars”, we now know that the BT/RKM/COL Banksters work all sides to make more profits for themselves and their associated families that own big blocks of stock in the large defense contractors.

When Scott did his job too effectively and discovered that certain powerful factions inside the Pentagon and American Intel were actually financing terror through a Swiss bank, he began blowing the whistle. He was then immediately and illegally jailed on a non-existent, phony charge to keep him quiet. Despite being thus persecuted, Scott did not back off. Through a stroke of providence, he ended up being given smoking-gun documents from Brad Birkenfeld and quickly published these in book form.

Andre Archie, a professor of philosophy at Colorado State University, has just written that many people will miss Thomas Sowell’s weekly column, since Sowell decided to retire from writing articles.[1]
Well, it depends on who you talk to. If you talk to the Neoconservatives in America, they will almost certainly miss his articles. This is why Neocon flagships such as Commentarypromote his work without any reservation.[2]
There are indeed some things that Sowell got right. I remember after I graduated from college back in 2002, I knew next to nothing about Neoconservativism. I was also a supporter of capitalism. I began to take Sowell’s work seriously around 2003-2004, when I picked up a copy of The Vision of the Anointed: Self-Congratulation as a Basis for Social Policy in my local library in Florida. It was indeed an interesting read back then. Sowell wrote on the second page that
“assumptions are taken by so many people, including so-called ‘thinking people,’ that neither those assumptions nor their corollaries are generally confronted with demands for empirical evidence. Indeed, empirical evidence itself may be viewed as suspect, insofar as it is inconsistent with that vision.”[3]
This is certainly true. And much of what Sowell has written over the years, includingEducation: Assumptions versus History and Affirmative Action: An Empirical Study, is true. I must admit that I had some rethinking to do when I first read his assessment on the issue of slavery as well. But Sowell is dead wrong about capitalism and the position he takes in the Middle East. He is essentially articulating what the oligarchic rule is saying. In fact, he is trapped in the Neoconservative worldview. Sowell declares in his 2010 bookDismantling America that
“With Iran moving toward the development of nuclear weapons, we are getting dangerously close to that fatal point of no return on the world stage…The Iranian government itself is giving us the clearest evidence of what a nuclear Iran would mean, with its fanatical hate-filled declarations about wanting to wipe Israel off the face of the earth.”[4]
What was interesting about this extraordinary assumption was that Sowell provided not a single evidence for it, an intellectually embarrassing move which vitiated most of his own work. When I got done reading The Vision of the Anointed, I contacted Sowell and told him that I appreciate the work. To which he replied, “Thank you.”
But when I read Dismantling America and asked him to provide evidence for some of his assertions, he never responded. He keeps talking about “the fatal danger of nuclear Iran,” but there is no way of adjudicating those authoritative and indeed dogmatic claims because Sowell does not give us a shred of evidence.

Jewish legal scholar Stephen M. Feldman argues that the Neocons got their political and intellectual position “by leading an assault on the hegemonic pluralist democratic regime that had taken hold of the nations in the 1930s.”[6]
What Feldman is implicitly or reluctantly saying is that the Neocons essentially attacked the moral and political fabric of America and progressively turned the country into an empire that always looks for monsters to destroy in the Middle East and elsewhere.[7] This came into full bloom during the Reagan administration.[8]

I think we can now say with much greater confidence that the photo revealed in last week’s History Channel documentary is indeed that of Amelia Earhart and Fred Noonan on Jaluit Atoll after their capture by the Japanese in July 1937. The ship has been confirmed as the IJN Koshu, as I suggested it might be last week.
The best support came of out of Tokyo, ironically. Defeated by facial recognition software all the Japs could come up with was the old pre-date the photo and stick it in the national archives trick. They’re claiming the photo was taken in 1935. I am not even sure that Amelia and Fred were IN the Marshall Islands, alone on Jaluit Atoll, in 1935.
The island was then under Japanese control. There was a small airfield there (you guys very properly bombed it in the war), but why would the Japs grant permission to American flyers to use it, at a time when they were secretly fortifying the Marshall Islands in breach of international law? And what would fliers be doing down at the docks anyway? They would hardly have arrived by sea.

Last February, CNN risibly reported that Russia and the Syrian government “deliberately targeted civilian areas of Aleppo.”[1] But when independent reporters and even UN Peace Council actually went to Syria and talked to the civilian population, they found that the population universally rejected the claim that there is a civil war in Syria. When the Americans outlived the “syndrome of the war in Vietnam,” they became obsessed with the issue of national security. The idea was as follows: the United States of America would have the right to invade other countries, but remain immune to attack at the same time. What could go wrong?
In the first years after the Cold War, impunity seemed a reality: the United States invaded Panama, afterwards, the Bosnian Serbs could not do anything to respond to the US Air Force. Washington and its NATO allies were bombing Serbia for 79 days and hardly lost a soldier.

The DPRK has been working on intercontinental ballistic missiles capable of reaching American cities. Earlier this year, US President Donald Trump promised that it would not happen, but a few months later, the DPRK successfully tested a long-range missile capable of striking Alaska. Washington’s awe gradually evolves into panic.
The Americans think of dictator Kim Jong-un as a mentally unstable individual, whose decisions and actions do not make any sense. After North Korea’s most recent ballistic missile test, US President Trump wondered whether Kim Jong-un had anything better to do in his life. Mr. Trump may not understand it, but the things that the leader of North Korea has been doing are directly associated with the security of his country and nation.

In the book, the author recounts his personal history, focusing on the nuclear history of the State of Israel. A fascinating part of the book deals with the nuclear aspect of the Six-Day and Yom Kippur wars, describing the author’s role in the nuclear project.
An additional key section of the book describes an unknown nuclear dimension from the days immediately preceding the Six-Day War. And since the book was published abroad, it is possible to write about it in Israel as a “foreign source.” The Defense Ministry’s security authority – known by its Hebrew acronym, Malmab – and the censors can purchase the book, just like any reader.
This is a story that may sound like fiction – a terrifying thriller, even – but the author’s familiarity with the details is credible.

This statement is somewhat ambiguous. But how does PJW respond? Listen to him very carefully:
“Perhaps Lowe has been living under a rock for the past two years during which western countries have been rocked by endless Islamic terror attacks and a wave of millions of economic migrants that has seen violent crime and sexual assaults in major cities skyrocket.”
Will this man ever stop deluding himself? Can he not see that perpetual wars in the Middle East fuel so-called “Islamic terror attacks”? What about Israeli terror attacks?[2] Does he mean to tell us that he doesn’t know about the Lavon Affair and other Israeli terrorist acts?[3] What about terrorist apologists in the United States? What about our own politicians, who are currently supporting ISIS in Syria? Why can’t this man address the issue?
Even the Wall Street Journal, of all places, does a better job than PJW because they reluctantly reported that Israel has been supporting the bad guys in Syria.[4] In the same vein, former Mossad director Efraim Halevy agrees that Israel has been supporting al-Qaeda supporters on the Israeli borders in order to overthrow the Assad government.

Simonyan expressed her concern over the media’s growing, and often boundless, influence and the way it changes the world around us, during Chinese President Xi Jinping’s state visit to Moscow.
“We live in unique times, when media – the so-called fourth estate – in many countries is trying to become, and sometimes becomes, the first: sets the rules of the game, controls public opinion, doesn’t just change people’s attitude towards a leader or a state, but alters the values of entire societies,” RT’s editor-in-chief said.
The media has become a weapon and a life-changing tool at the same time, Simonyan said.

Steindyrt brød
Drømmen natt til i dag hadde allerede vart en stund, men det eneste jeg husker starter her:
Min nest eldste søster og jeg stod ved et stort vindu og så opp mot himmelen. Der var det en lang relativt bred sky som var formet som en vei. Det var en “skyvei”. Fire skikkelser uten vinger, med menneskekropper som atleter, eller kanskje som de tredukkene med bevegelige kroppsdeler uten noen detaljer på som kunstnere bruker å se på når de skal lære seg å tegne menneskekroppen, sprang fremover på skyveien. Vi så ryggene deres. Det sprang to fremst, og to bak, fire til sammen. “Det er engler”, sa jeg, men da jeg så nærmere etter var én av skikkelsene en eldre dame med briller, og det finnes jo ikke dameengler i Bibelen, og har de ikke vinger?
Deretter stod jeg alene på lysegul murstein, kanskje på toppen av et (mur-) steinbygg. Det så ut som om det var hentet ut rett fra Jerusalem eller fra taket på et slott, som selvsagt kunne ha vært hvor som helst i verden, men jeg så Jesus. Jeg bare visste at det må ha vært han, for han hadde kjortel og “Jesus-hår” (frisyre), sånn som han i Gaither, som fikk høre fra en kvinnelig norsk beundrer da de besøkte Norge for ikke så lenge siden, med henført stemme, gjentatte ganger: “You are so anointed… Oh, you are so anointed…!” Jesus – look alike -fyren så veldig brydd ut (man ser han her i “Blow the trumpet“).
I drømmen hadde Jesus en enkel kjortel, som var lys, akkurat som mursteinen, muligens med noen svake farger som mønster, men jeg bet meg ikke merke i noe spesielt. (I Bibelen står det at den er skinnende, i Daniel 10: Jeg løftet øynene. Jeg så, og se! – en mann kledd i lin, med et belte av Ufas-gull om livet. 6 Kroppen hans var som krysolitt, ansiktet som glimtet av et lyn, øynene som luer av ild, og armene og føttene var som skinnende bronse. Når han talte, lød stemmen som bruset av en folkemengde.)
Han kom gående mot meg, ca 10 meter foran meg, selv om jeg ikke så noe slikt som Daniel, kun en mann i kjortel med langt Jesus-hår. Ved siden av han på steingulvet, noen få meter unna ham, hang eller stod det en kappe i løse luften. Kanskje var den så skitten at den kunne stå av seg selv? Jeg vet ikke hva det var. Det var ingen kropp i den, bare muligens et slags håndtak på toppen, uten noe hode der hvor man skulle ha forventet at det var et, og så hang det noen slags filler eller tøystykker ned, akkurat som det flettede skjegget til en løve med merkelig skummelt ansikt og perler med mulig okkult mønster på hengende i “skjeggpelsen” sin under løvekjeften, som jeg så på et tredimensjonalt veggbilde i går, hadde hatt. Det var ikke løven av Juda, men kanskje “Satan, som går rundt omkring som en brølende løve, på jakt etter noen som han kan sluke?” Det var “Daniel” som hadde brukt denne tingen til å leke med hundene med, fikk jeg høre i drømmen. (Hvis det var Bibelens Daniel så spiste ikke løvene ham opp, siden en engler passet på ham i løvens hule. Englene visste tydeligvis hvordan man behandler bitende tenner, enten det er hunder eller løvers.)
Jeg tok “kappen” eller “hundeleken”, som nå så ut som om den var tvunnet som hår eller tøyremser sammen til en merkelig ting som var mye smalere, slik man kan vri mykt metall (f.eks aluminium eller våte plastelinaremser; våt leire), med meg inn på et tog som kom forbi. På min høyre side satt min mann og på min venstre side hadde jeg plassert “den rare tingen”, som en veske. Det satt ca fem damer foran oss, på togsetene foran oss. Den ene snudde seg: “Hva er det som lukter så rart?”, sa hun. “Det er ikke jeg, for jeg har badet”, sa jeg. De snuste og var enige i det. Så fant de ut at det var den rare tingen jeg hadde ved siden av meg på venstre side som luktet rart.
Det kom en mann inn på toget som så ut som om han kom fra et sted lenger sør i Europa, og han ville vite hva min mann het. Han var selger eller “intervjuer”. Det satt en litt “rund” mann (kraftig “plugg”) bak meg med armene i kors og tipset oss om å være forsiktige, og sa: “Han der karen går alltid rundt her på disse trakter og fisker på alle bauger og kanter.” Han brukte å ta toget i alle retninger og “fiske”.
Jeg gikk av toget, ganske tomhendt, alene og blakk. Den stinkende “våte, tvunnete plastelinavesken” eller løverastafariskjeggvesken hadde jeg ikke med meg. Siklende løvers rastafariskjegg lukter kanskje spesielt? Jeg bruker forresten aldri håndvesker, derfor husker jeg ikke å ta de med meg fra sted til sted de få gangene jeg har de med meg. Hva skal man med vesker når man har lommer?
Mens jeg stod der og så på togskinnene og perrongen på andre siden tenkte jeg: “Å, nei, hvor er min mann? Forhåpentligvis kommer han tilbake hit snart, så jeg får holde meg her og vente til han får tatt et annet tog tilbake hit og finne meg. Jeg hadde bare noen tiere og tyvekroninger i lomma, maks hundre kroner.
På siden av paviljongen var det en slags bule av en restaurant eller bar. Det var så mørkt der inne at jeg kunne egentlig ikke se om det overhodet satt noen gjester der. Kanskje likte de å ha det veldig privat, og derfor var det best å skru av alle lys, for å få en slik “Lady og Landstrykeren” -stemning med kun et stearinlys i en vinflaske? Det så ikke koselig ut, kun “bulete” (løvens hule?).
Det stod en dame bak skranken, og jeg var sulten. Det lå omtrent syv brød i forskjellig størrelse bak glassluken hennes. Hun var redd for at jeg skulle være skitten på hendene, men jeg fortalte henne at jeg nettopp hadde vasket dem med såpe, som sant var. “Det vil jeg ha. Hva koster det? Jeg har bare ca 70 kroner.” – “Det koster 300 kroner”, svarte hun. Brødet var skåret opp i mange syltynne skiver, på størrelse med de tynneste knekkebrødene som finnes. Hun ville gi meg 7 “skiver” for 70 kroner, og det utgjorde ca 1/5 av brødet eller mindre, og var ikke noe særlig å bli mett av. Det var et lite brød og det var bare en loff.
Det kom en mann bak skranken, og han spurte meg om hva jeg tenkte og om hva jeg hadde å si. “Du er veldig snill, takk, Gud velsigne deg!”, men jeg syntes egentlig av de var gjerrige (grådige), men prøvde å være hyggelig og takknemlig, selv om det var inflasjonspriser på brødene deres. “Du må jo ha pålegg!”, sa han, og tok meg med til en annen skranke. Der var det bare små grønnsaksplanter. Skulle jeg ha blader som pålegg på “skivene”, og det var alt? Da våknet jeg, kanskje fordi jeg var rystet over “serveringen”.
Når man våkner lurer man på om det var Herodes eller Pontius Pilatus sin kappe som man så? Han hadde jo vasket sine hender, for han fant ingen feil med Jesus, allikevel ble han dømt. Hvorfor hadde jeg som ikke har hund, men katt, en hundeleke med meg på toget? Og hvor ble det av den? Det er som hentet ut av en episode av Gaus, Brumund og Roms Dal: Brødene Dal. Kanskje var det “hasjpålegg”, siden de jo serverer “hasjkake” i Danmark. Godt å ikke vite. Hva man ikke vet har man ikke vondt av.
Siden jeg har hatt “110 in the shade” på hjernen i hele dag, vil jeg nå høre på den, så jeg får fred i sjela, selv om jeg ikke har noen annen “dame” å snakke med enn meg selv.
