Syria’s Assad supported President Bush, as per Bush’s request. Syrian head of state Hafez al-Assad, father of 2014-elected Syrian president Bashar al-Assad, supported the U.S. by sending armored divisions to Iraq to oust Saddam Hussein. However, after the largest bombing campaign since Vietnam, Saddam Hussein survived in Iraq. Why?

General Flynn had to be gone when Netanyahu came to Washington, that was predetermined. No National Security Advisor serving the American people could sit silently while Trump and Netanyahu announced to the world that the US now supported a fully apartheid police state in Israel with 7 million Palestinians relegated to camps, ghettos or worse. Sound familiar, “Hitleresque” even? We think so.
It also guarantees more war, more dead Americans, more terrorism and the world even worse than it is and not by accident. Flynn had to go, but he was only there to “catfish” the Russians.

The Saudi royal family was “deeply involved” in the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks that killed thousands of Americans, says Gordon Duff, an American political commentator and Marine combat veteran.
Duff, a senior editor at Veterans Today, made the remarks in an interview with Press TV on Tuesday while commenting on a report which says Saudi Arabia is recruiting US military veterans in an attempt to kill a recently-passed law allowing 9/11 families to sue Saudi nationals for their alleged role in facilitating the terrorist attacks.
The website 28Pages.org, which is dedicated to exposing Saudi links to 9/11 and other buried truths about the terrorist attacks, called the Saudi campaign “a brazen effort.”

US confirms use of depleted uranium in Syria
The U.S. used thousands of depleted uranium rounds in two 2015 air raids in Syria, Central Command confirmed on Tuesday.
The controversial munition had not been used by the U.S. since the occupation of Iraq where it has continued to illicit claims of lingering health effects, particularly in Fallujah where U.S. forces fought intense close-quarters battles with insurgents.
The Syria air raids, carried out in mid and late November 2015, targeted oil convoys in ISIL-held territory near al-Hassakah, and Deir Ez-Zour. Four A-10 warthog fixed-wing aircraft were used, ultimately resulting in the destruction of over 330 vehicles.
“The combination of Armored Piercing Incendiary (DU) rounds mixed with High Explosive Incendiary rounds was used to ensure a higher probability of destruction of the truck fleet ISIL was using to transport its illicit oil,” spokesman Maj. Josh T. Jacques said in a statement.

With every Trump cabinet pick and ever executive order, the American people themselves are in more fear of being controlled by the Deep State. It is like a horror movie where the villains are put in charge.
Where else have we seen this?
Ukraine for one. Looking at what happened in Ukraine, the coup of the Viktor Yanukovych government, which to be fair was corrupt financially, as many developing countries are, still, the US paid $5 billion to sponsor basically a color revolution/coup so that corporate interests could potentially take the best, most industrial part of Ukraine, Eastern Ukraine. Victoria Nuland’s speech in December 2013 was an ominous warning of the path that would be taken towards this. Some of the people who were put in power after the coup were closely allied with the Far-Right, and quasi Neo-Nazis, members of the Right Sector, currently hold positions in the government of Western Ukraine, the side we supported.
At the time of the coup, Yanukovych was working on the best course for the country financially which had received loans from Russia and was also promised loans from the EU that were tied to austerity which could cost the Ukrainian people their sovereignty. It would have been nice for the West to work together with the East to create a balanced approach on Ukraine and enable their membership in both the Customs Union and the EU allowing the country to be a bridge between East and West, however the extremists won and division was created in Ukraine, as laws punishing Russian speakers spewed out of the Verkhovna Rada, Ukraine’s Parliament.
Crimea voted to become part of Russia out of fear of the Far-Right Nationalists. The minority Tartars did not agree, but with the majority of Crimeans 96.8 percent voted to declare independence from Ukraine and on March 17, 2014 formally applied to become part of Russia following the referendum, self-determination prevailed. Why is self-determination wrong when it leans towards Russia? Crimea was a part of Russia that was given to Ukraine in 1954. If the OSCE, Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe, would go to Crimea and interview the majority of people in Crimea, they would find that they indeed voted to be part of Russia out of fear, not of Russia, but out of fear of the Far-Right Nationalists in the government of Ukraine.

US President Donald Trump wants Russia to “return Crimea” to Ukraine, after the region’s unification with Russia.
Trump, whose proclivity for Russia has been a source of pressure on his administration, is attempting to appear “tough” in dealing with Moscow.
“President Trump has made it very clear that he expects the Russian government to de-escalate violence in the Ukraine and return Crimea,” said White House press secretary Sean Spicer at a daily news briefing on Tuesday.

To no one’s surprise, the new Trump administration has been conducting a carefully choreographed roll out of “The World that Donald made”, to establish himself as fulfilling his campaign promises as a “can do” guy. He has used the executive order firepower of one cruise missile after another to dismantle parts of the Obama legacy, a Republican revenge on the Democrats for losing so many close votes on big issues.
The Obama Health Care Act was the first to go, with full Republican support in both houses of Congress. The 20 million extra Americans who have coverage now have been promised they will not lose it, but not one detail has been released as to how this is to be accomplished and still bring costs down.
This reeks of the Trump team not knowing themselves and buying time to put something together. Historically, new administrations do some government structure shuffling around, claim it as a success and ignore any critics, knowing the average voter does not have a private intelligence agency verifying the claims. With Donald we have, “Everything is going to be fantastic, really fantastic!” This is not governing.
Next came the Mexican Wall announcement. Yes it is coming, the Republican Congressional leadership has promised the initial funding, with Mexico targeted to pay for it one way of the other. Mexico’s president Enrique Nieto said, “No way Jose”, and canceled his trip to the US to discuss the matter.
Trump countered that with a US $60 billion trade deficit with Mexico, he will crunch NAFTA so Nieto can choose between empty bankrupt factories along the border, versus giving up farming Mexico’s poor by sending them over the border, which has created a huge backflow of US cash.
Donald is hyping the deficit numbers. He knows the average American does not realize that Mexican exports include a lot of U.S.-made parts shipped down there that go into products shipped back here, and at a price Americans like.
The TPP is toast
The Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) trade deal was dead on arrival due to Obama not only negotiating the deal in secret, but having involved only the multinationals — not quite the grassroots image one would expect from a Democratic president.
Trump gave it two bullets to the head, New York style, and it was dead. South America is now claiming they will take control of their own destiny by trading with each other.
Good luck with that. But expect China to move in to pitch its own trade partnership and laugh all the way to the bank.
The foreign policy front has been just as turbulent as the trade front. Britain waived the white flag on its steadfast support for the terror war on Syria, with Prime Minister May and FM “Boris the Bore Johnson” admitting that it was a failed effort and it is time to move on. Israel will not be happy to hear that and wants to tear the Iran nuclear deal down to feel better.

Michael Isikoff is not entirely a bad journalist. To be fair, he has produced a good amount of journalism over the past few years. He was one of the people who exposed the Bush administration?s covert plan in Iraq in Hubris: The Inside Story of Spin, Scandal, and the Selling of the Iraq War.
But when it comes to the situation in Syria, it seems that Isikoff is clueless. Whether that is deliberate or not is hard to determine.
